Frequently Asked Questions
Yes—for new guests, a Meet & Greet is required before their first stay. It’s a chance for us to introduce ourselves, get to know you and your pet, answer questions, and make sure everyone feels comfortable before the first booking.
Returning guests? No meet & greet needed! If your pet has stayed with us before, you’re welcome to book anytime we’re available.
You bet! Once we’ve met your pet and they’ve had a successful stay, you’re welcome to book anytime we’re available through your Pet Pocketbook profile—no extra steps required. We love having familiar faces back!
For services in our home, we welcome all dogs over the age of 2 years old, except full-bred German shepherds, who get along well with other dogs and aren't food/toy-aggressive. Whether your pet is high-energy, elderly, shy, or needs a little extra TLC—we’re happy to accommodate them. Just let us know how we can help them feel most at home!
For dog walking and home visits, we service cats and dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, and abilities.
We also ask for a quick heads-up about your pet’s habits: Are they potty-trained? Do they chew or scratch at doors? Know any commands?
The more we know, the better we can make them feel right at home.
To keep things calm and safe for everyone, we have a few important guidelines:
We only accept dogs over the age of 2 years old
We do not accept dogs who become aggressive when food or toys are present
We do not accept full-bred German Shepherds (we appreciate the breed, but due to past experiences, we’ve decided it’s best for our home setup)
If you're unsure whether your pet is a good fit, just reach out—we're happy to talk it through!
For overnight boarding, we host up to 4 pets at a time to ensure personalized attention and a calm, stress‑free environment.
Yes! We host up to 4 pets at a time so they have room to roam, play, and socialize in a calm environment. We always supervise introductions and do our best to match personalities and energy levels.
The more we know, the better care we can give! When booking, please let us know:
If your dog is potty-trained
If they like to chew, dig, or scratch at doors
If they have a history of possession or aggression
Their command knowledge (sit, stay, etc.)
Feeding habits and any special diet details
Their favorite activities, toys, or snuggle spots!
Here’s what we ask you to pack for your pet’s stay:
Leash
Their food + food bowl
Treats (if they’re allowed!)
Bed (optional, but helpful for comfort)
We’ve got plenty of water bowls and toys, so no need to bring your own. We also have kennels available, but we only use them if your pup is being destructive or if you request it as part of their normal routine.
Absolutely! We’re experienced and comfortable administering medication of all kinds—whether it’s pills, injections, or topical treatments. Just let us know the details and schedule, and we’ll make sure your pet gets exactly what they need, safely and on time.
We’ll always contact you first, but if your pet needs care right away, we’ll head to your preferred vet or the nearest trusted veterinary clinic. We’re experienced, calm under pressure, and always put your pet’s well-being first.
We accept Zelle, Cash, ACH/Bank Transfer, and Credit Card payments, either online or in person. Payment is due at the beginning of your pet’s stay unless otherwise arranged.
Please note: A 5% processing fee is added to all credit card payments. This fee does not apply when using Zelle or Cash.
Zelle payments can be sent to info@thebellyrub.club. Zelle payments will be confirmed with an updated receipt via email. If you do not receive a receipt within 24 hours of sending your payment, please contact us at (480) 254-4300 to confirm it was received.
Yes! We are fully licensed and insured through Pet Sitters Associates, a trusted provider in the professional pet care industry. This coverage helps protect not only your pet but also our home and services—so you can rest easy knowing we’re prepared for the unexpected.
Your pet’s safety—and your peace of mind—are always our top priorities.
While we’re home and caring for pets 24/7, we do have set windows for drop-off and pick-up to help everyone settle in smoothly:
Drop-offs must occur between 7 AM and 6 PM. This gives your pet time to settle in, explore the space, and get comfy before bedtime. Drop-offs outside of that window may incur a $20 fee.
Pick-ups must occur between 7 AM and 6 PM. This gives your pet time to settle in, explore the space, and get comfy before bedtime. Drop-offs outside of that window may incur a $20 fee or be asked to stay an additional night and be picked up the following morning.
We’ve found that this routine keeps things calm and stress-free for the animals—and for us too!
