Hi, I’m Janniqua Dawkins-Bruening, MBA, but you can
call me Jay!
I started this business back in 2018 because I wanted to spend more of my life surrounded by animals. I was raised by a dog breeder, so being around furry friends has always felt second nature to me.
Now, as a full-time work-from-home pet care pro in Orlando, I share this journey with my husband and our friendly pup, Amina. Together, we’ve welcomed hundreds of dogs and cats into our home—of all breeds, ages, sizes, and personalities.
Our cozy, kennel-free environment allows pets to play freely, nap where they please, and just be themselves. Have a senior pet, a shy pet, or a pet who needs meds? We’ve got it covered—just let us know what they need.
We’re insured, experienced, and ready to give your furry family member a staycation that’s just as loving (maybe even more!) as home.
Meet Steve
Pet Care Specialist
Steve is the calm, reassuring energy behind the scenes here at The BellyRub Club. While he works a hybrid full-time schedule, he’s 100% committed to helping our furry guests feel comfortable and cared for.
From the moment pets arrive, Steve is part of the welcome crew—offering a gentle greeting and lots of patience to help even the most nervous guests settle in. He’s got a natural way with animals (and a soft spot for the shy ones), making sure every pup or kitty feels like they belong here.
When he’s not working or giving head scratches, you’ll often find him out in the yard tossing toys or acting as the official “lap provider” for cuddle seekers. Pets love him—and the feeling’s mutual!
About Amina
Mascot & Nap-Time Guide (Resident Pup)
We rescued Amina in March 2021 after she was found wandering the Arizona desert, and she’s been stealing hearts ever since. She’s a sweet, patient, lovable hairless bully breed, and although we’re not sure exactly how old she is, we’re sure she’s wise beyond her years.
Amina gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and kids of all ages. She helped us host hundreds of guests. She instinctively knows when a new pet needs a little space, a playmate, or a quiet spot to nap.
Whether she’s leading the backyard zoomie parade or sharing her favorite sunny spot, Amina helps every visitor feel like they’re part of the pack.
